Friend - MDS

This was a real challenge... it comes from the Easy Breezy Kewl Colour Challenge #12.  I was never fan of Tangerine Tango, that's why I tried to keep it low key :D The other colours are Kraft, Close to Cocoa and Kiwi Kiss. The sets are Simple Friendship, and Torn Edges.

To get the perfect alignment with the brads, don't forget to use the "Snap to Grid" feature, with one click you have them in the perfect place, instead of eyeballing, even with the "grid" feature on, it can be difficult sometimes :D

Catching the Mojo

Yes, I'm still using what I have around... just giving it a little twist for this week's Mojo Monday #115

This one is using Dasher and the set All Holidays. Plus the scallop dies and texturz plate for the Big Shot. And the large oval punch. The card is 5"x 5"

This one is using last week's Mojo Monday sketch, and the colours from Dawn McVey.

 

The set is Everything Nice. I used the Word Window punch to add the "eat cake" on top of the original. It's very easy to add a little touch with the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder.

Catching up

Final version - Medallion card

Here's the final version for the Medallion/En Francais card that we'll be doing this weekend at Niagara's Finest Scrapbooking Retreat.

 

The Dusty Durango piece was missing something, so I just wrinkled it and released all my stress while doing it, and went over it with the Dusty Durango ink pad. I also stamped off the Medallion, to give it a softer look.

Christmas Mojo

I liked this week's Mojo Monday sketch... so I'm using what I have around, and it turned out to be another Christmas card in my favourite colours :D

Stamp set: Patterned Pines, All Holidays. Paper: Kraft, Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, Christmas Cocoa Specialty. Ink: Real Red, Chocolate Chip. Extras: glitter, brad, circle punches, Mistletoe ribbon originals.

 

The Very Vanilla panel in the back was done in the Big Shot with the texturz plate.

I like the set Sincere Salutations because you can add any phrase that you want. (And I don't have the Teeny Tiny Wishes in English, remember?  Just in Spanish :D ) Background stamps: Medallion, En Francais

White Christmas

Here's another card that we made on Wednesday, and we're making a similar one tonight too!
