Catching the Mojo

Yes, I'm still using what I have around... just giving it a little twist for this week's Mojo Monday #115

This one is using Dasher and the set All Holidays. Plus the scallop dies and texturz plate for the Big Shot. And the large oval punch. The card is 5"x 5"

This one is using last week's Mojo Monday sketch, and the colours from Dawn McVey.

 

The set is Everything Nice. I used the Word Window punch to add the "eat cake" on top of the original. It's very easy to add a little touch with the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder.

Golden Dasher

Dia de Brujas

For the first one I used the WSC #99, and some black and orange M&M's inside the Sweet Treat Cups. The real challenge was to make the card stand up... :D

The black card stock is from the Taste of Textiles... but any Basic Black card stock will be fine. I used Only Orangecard stock and the DSP is from the Mini Holiday Catalogue: Night and Day Specialty  

With this one I was just playing with my Frost White shimmer paint, and I just sponged it in circles on the card stock. The stamp comes from Deseos Pequeñitos. The ribbon is good old Kiwi Kiss (you'll see a lot of it in your new My Digital Studio ;) )

I guess with 98 days left of this year (if my calculations are correct)... We should get started with our Christmas cards, and fast... :D What do you think?  Do you still dress up for Halloween? Today we made official that Julian will be a fire fighter :)

One more Christmas card ready for December :) Based on Makeesha's sketch #11, I made this  5 1/4" x 5 1/4" card:

 

The well known Dasher in Soft Suede, and the words from Deseos Pequeñitos in Always Artichoke.

Paper: Sahara Sand, Always Artichoke, Very Vanilla, Holiday Lounge DSP. Extras: Circle Scissor Plus, Jumbo Grommets, Soft Suede grosgrain ribbon, 1/2" circle and Spiral punches, dimensionals

Un Dia en el Parque

Or also known as Pendant Park, the stamp is the same, but just because the set includes one word, you can choose to get it in Spanish, English or French. 

 

The circles were done with the Circle Scissor Plus, that's how I can get the perfect mats for each layer.

Ink: Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Going Gray. Paper: Going Gray, Basic Black, Old Olive, Whisper White card stock. And some dimensionals too. 

The sketch comes from the blog Mojo Monday. And that was the last piece of my... I forgot the name already... Baja Breeze... :D

Remember that now we can also get sets in Spanish here in Canada. Both sets on page 118 are available in Spanish in my online store.

Just a simple Saturday card, based on Makeesha's Inkspirations Sketch Challenge #10.

 

I try not to see the sample made with the sketch... but when I'm done with my card, then I go and peek around, and I guess this sketch calls for the Scallop Edge Punch :D   And once the circle scissor plus is out... you can just keep going.

The stamp set is Love You Much, and I added the flower brad, for a little detail.  I added some dimensionals too. The card stock is: Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, and Chocolate Chip... the rest of the materials are no longer available.

What better way to end the National Scrapbooking Month that with a page. The idea for it comes from this template that I had previously shown you.

Card stock: Not Quite Navy 12" x 12", Old Olive, Very Vanilla

Inks: Not Quite Navy, Versamark, Old Olive marker

Extras: Circle Scissor Plus, Real Red grosgrain ribbon, White embossing powder, Round tab and circle punches, dimensionals

 

Tiny detail: maybe it's a good idea to write the year the picture was taken on the back. Some places do print the year, but older pictures, and this one apparently, don't have it... So I just wrote 199?

I've been busy today doing the projects that you'll see in the next days, and sometimes I can't stop... yes I know, you must be thinking "well, you should stop"  :D  Don't worry, one of these days I'll take a break... ;p

So, while being unstoppable, here's my no-ink version that I did tonight for Kristina's colour challenge:

 

Bright Delights rub-ons. Cherry Blossoms embosslit. Scallop Circle die. Tangerine Tango card stock. Delicate Dots, and Bella Rose Designer Series Paper. Whisper White taffeta ribbon. Circle Scissor Plus. White small Jumbo Brad. Whisper White card stock for the owl.

Tangerine Tango is not in my top list, but with this combination it doesn't look so bad :)

First Christmas...

...card of the year! To avoid the December-Christmas-card-rush you can always start today!  :D  The sketch comes from Clean & Simple. I wanted to use one of the papers that comes in the package Taste of Textiles. I used the Scallop Circle die for the Big Shot, and some felt flurries that I have left, plus rub-ons. The card base is in Riding Hood Red, and it measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4"

 

Then I did two 3" x 3" cards, but to avoid covering so much of the pretty paper, I used my Circle Scissor Plus, plus some Flower Fusion flowers, the DSP is Urban Garden, and my Pretties Kit was useful too :D
