Flourish - the stencil

I made these cards with the stencil Flourish, which is bigger than the Kind Thoughts Brocade... I think it may be too big for cards, but perfect for scrapbook pages...

To paint I used a dauber, and I mixed one drop of Soft Suede ink (from the ink refill bottle) and some shimmer paint Frost White. The words come from the set Deseos Pequeñitos

And suddenly the ink has a shine to it... very nice and cool! :D Try it!!

For this one I used the Sizzlit die Many Thanks. You can do "thank you" or "thanks"

The colours come from the DCBD #146

I used the 2-Way glue pen to stick them. Once again this is an exclusive die, available only through Stampin' Up!

Two more projects from yesterday

This one with using the Sweet Treat cups, chunky glitter, and the Sweet Centers stamp set.

And then we did this card using the stencils Kind Thoughts Brocade.

The words come from the set One of a Kind.

Remember that the Sweet Treat cups are only available until January 4th... Don't forget to get enough for Valentine's day too :D

So many toys...

And I don't know what to play with... :D Does it happen to you too? In the meanwhile, I'm very happy to report that I finished a photo album using the MDS, and it went to printing... so, it will come one of these days. And I've been making cards too... considering that I'm a beginner... the software is nice and easy to use... of course the more you know the more things you can do.

Another demonstrator did this, and I thought it was a great idea, so instead of putting it over Julian's toys, I put it over mine. I like the font they used here.

 

First I cut the two sections (the words, and the paper plane). I placed the words first, and then the part with the plane. Be patient with all the little lines, it's worthwhile.

 

Just for the record, this one is called So Many Toys :D It's the medium size in Chocolate Chip, and the number to order it is: 117809

Start with an album

Now that I have my first page done, it's always good if you have where to put it... The quality of a Stampin' Up! album is incredible.  The fabric has been pretreated with a stain-resistant coating. And it includes 10 page protectors.

This is the 12" x 12" Navy ring album, decorated with the Decor Elements Flower Finesse (Level 1 Hostess Benefits). 

 

 

As easy as it is to put the DE on your wall, car, furniture... it's not so easy on the linen.  It was not sticking... so with all the patience of the world, I ended up transferring it from the transfer sheet to the cover with my finger and once it was on the album I pressed hard, and it's fine now.  Let's see how long it lasts... I'll let you know.

But rub-ons work great too... This album has been around for over a year, and Julian likes to look at it a lot!

  

So, some flowers have suffered a little, and the second "m" too... But they're still there. 

You can also use the new stencils to decorate the cover...

These albums are only $31.95, and they hold more than 10 page protectors, also sold separately, just keep adding them to the album.

For your laundry room

Who said that laundry rooms had to be boring?  This is the new Decor Element that your room needs, your walls are empty (well, mine are, there's only one cabinet) and now it will be fun to do laundry :)

 

This is the medium size (11 3/4" x 13") "Laundry" Decor Element (order it with the number 116159)  I bought the correct size for my room, just like Goldie Locks would say, the small one would be too small and the big one, well, just too big :)  You can get it in red or black too.

Decor Elements - Phase 3

Stampin' Up! surprised us with the next phase of the great product line of Decor Elements.

I can just say that now my living room will have a tree, and I'll be going more often to the laundry room :D

I have them all around the house, even in my bathroom, the "Flourishes" one, next to the door so it dries faster, but it's still perfect; the ones on the van, perfect.  So yes, you can put them anywhere you want, as long it's a smooth surface.

Christmas in a box!

Merry Christmas - Feliz Navidad

I bought this shadow box, to put the Decor Element of "Jingle all the way".  After Halloween, I had to destroy Spooky (the Decor element for that holiday, they are not re-usables), I thought I wouldn't want to do the same with this one.  And in this way the decoration can last for next year too. I'm sure you've seen samples like these around, this is just my version :D  Yes, there's a little rub-on on the outside too :)

Spooky

  It's the perfect decoration for our front door.  This window doesn't get wet with the rain, unless it's very windy, but, nothing has happened until now. So the Decor Elements are also good for outdoors.

Spooky will be on sale until Halloween. I guess after that I can start with my Christmas decorations :)  The Christmas trees in the stores are already starting to come out, little by little... Ilse

Decor Elements

  I saw pictures of Decor Elements on cars... so of course, I had to try it myself... specially the Flourishes ones... the make everything look elegant, even my van :)

Story: Once upon a time the rub-ons were new to SU, so I started liking them more and more... perfect  for when you don't want to stamp.  And when the DE came out... or like I called them: the Mega Rub-ons, I just had to try them, so now they are all over my house, and well, now the van :)

Oh, and Phase 2 of Decor Elements is coming soon... more designs, more colours!
