Weekend in Niagara Falls

These are pictures from the room where we were all very busy working. The amount of things some people had was amazing. We had another room with display, and make & take tables.

  

Debbie's birthday was on Saturday, and she got a Diva Cheesecake :D
 
 

At night we escaped to see New Moon, which I also saw last night again! It's so good. Even my mom without reading the books liked it too :D  Did you like it?

I did manage to finish some pages, make some cards, and advance in my MDS calendar... I'll show you later.

Weekend swap #1

I think I can talk for all of us, when I say that we had a great weekend. We laughed a lot, and ate too much, but everything was delicious! (like Julian would say)...

 
 ...and we did crazy things, but we also stamped a lot :D

 

Here are some cards that we did: 

Miaco's card gave us time to make good use of our scissors with the Cold & Cuddly set, and thank God for the Ornament Punch that goes with the Delightful Decorations set, otherwise we would still be there :D Just kidding... I like this card because I hadn't try this step fold before; and there's Dazzling Diamonds on the icebergs.

  

I like Vicki's card because of the colours. The set is the popular Patterned Pinesfrom the Hostess Benefits inside the Holiday Mini Catalogue, and we used Whisper White Craft Ink. The Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder for the Big Shot, makes the perfect background!

 
 Kathy made us emboss the tree from Season of Joy with Iridescent Ice, and two wheels for the background:

I'll post more cards later, my computer should be here soon, and apparently I didn't lose any information... I haven't forgotten about the prizes from the little give away, so stay tuned :D

I'm back...

We're back from our vacation in this great city... not so windy, but rainny and hot :D  This was our view from the Shedd Aquarium during our lunch. We also went to the Zoo, to the Science and Industry Museum which has an exhibition of Harry Potter... if you're near the area, you should see it, very well done, and very nice!  And of course, to the Children's Museum... :D

If you're not from this side of the world, the city is Chicago, and the black tall building on the left, is the Sears Tower, tallest building in the world. You can go all the way to the top, and the view is more than amazing... we didn't go this time, but I've been there :D

Are you going out for vacation? Summer is not over... even if the stores have the sign "end of Summer sales" :D

Our airco broke down... it will be fixed later... that's why stamping has been impossible, but all my birthday gifts are here...

Marbella

We came back on Monday from Marbella, in Malaga, Spain.  We went to Rodrigo's baptism, and to see the family, of course :)  Julian had a blast, he even had a great score in his first bowling experience! :)

 

The picture is so bright because of the Sun!  :)

 

 

He went on every possible ride that he could...  :D

We always stay at Aparthotel Puerto Azul The location is perfect, because you're 3 steps away from the sea, and the staff is one of a kind, don't worry, they speak English and Dutch, so you're in good hands. If you're planning on going over there, let me know and I'll give you more information.

Cottage weekend. Part 2

  We also did this card. With the new stamp set in the Holiday Mini: Winter Post.  We did many more cards, we just had them on the table and you could work at your own pace... We played charades, the topic were movies and T.V., and I'm sure my team won :D

 

  But back to nature for a bit... All the trees are starting to change colours, it looked very nice... We went to Inglis Falls, and this was the view.
